Easter Photos 2006

We got Jack's pictures taken today at Sears for Easter. I dolled him up in a preppy little outfit of khaki pants, a striped button-down shirt, and a sweater vest. I was prepared to get sweet, smiling pictures of Jack with fluffy bunnies, baskets, and brightly colored eggs. Jack had another plan.

Though he was very pleasant, he was not cooperative in the least. He sat when we wanted him to stand, she giggled and hid his face, he chucked Easter eggs across the room, and then he found The Car. I don't know if they make some sort of child-car radar, but if they do, Jack has it. The car was hidden under a blanket, except one wheel was sticking out. He got up, walked across the room, and started playing with the wheel. So, we got the bright idea to let him sit in it and take pictures. Not very Easter-y, but cute:




Jack was thrilled. However, when it came time to get out, he was none too pleased. We had to fight him, kicking and screaming, and cover every inch of the car to make it "go away." He finally fell for it, but we didn't get any good shots after that, try as we might.
