The Big School Dilemma
We have started visiting private schools. The public schools will not let Jack start this year because his birthday is after September 30th. So, we are looking at private schools that will evaluate him and potentially let him start Kindergarten this fall. Today we went to visit Powhatan. It is the super nice school near our town. It is a really nice school with great teachers and students. They have lots of really neat things for the students like Spanish lessons every day in 1st Grade, Music twice a week and sports 3 times. They have lots of outdoors activities and learning. Now, if we could just win the lottery to help pay for it!

Our cut off is Sept 1st, which is fine. Why so eager for kindergarten? Other than Jack being brilliant (of course)!

In part, it's because we did it, to be honest. Plus, we have to do SOMETHING with him because his daycare only goes to 4 years and he'd be in the 4yo class for 2 full years. No bueno. We're looking at K-4 at another school, but, as you can tell, Kyle hearts Powhatan.
