Visit with the Geeps
My parents came up to visit over the weekend and see The Boy. It's been ages since they had seen him and he's grown a lot- both bigger and taller, and just more friendly, talkative, and smart. We all had a great time. Grandma put Jack to bed on Saturday night, which I think both of them liked. Grandpa chased Jack around the house and Jack learned that if he walked up to Grandpa and said "chase you" that Grandpa would go running after him. He even asked Kyle and I "chase you" after they left, so we both ran around the house like crazy until we were sweaty and out of breath.
When the grandparents left, Jack stood on the porch and said goodbye. Later when he asked about them, we told him that they had gone home. His reponse? "Jack home? Jack home?" He wanted to go home with them. It was really the sweetest thing ever.
Saturday morning we went to the Farmer's Market, which is Jack's favorite place. It was the Fall Festival, so we were able to hang out, listen to music, let Jack play in the playground, and have some apple cobbler. That afternoon, we took Jack to the park where he ran around and climbed up and down the equipment (but generally refused to go down the slides for some reason). A few pictures of the day:

I love that picture of Jack with the grandparents. It's obvious that Grandpa is having a blast!
