There's a Rumble in the Jungle

Rumble in the Jungle is the title of Jack's favorite book. He loves the book more than anything (even his pinball table!). Tonight we heard him in the living room while we were in the kitchen and he was growling. Sure enough, he was sitting "reading" his book. Kyle taught him to growl (which sounds more like a scratchy "Aaah" from Jack) when you ask him "What does a lion say?" Apparently the growl applies to all aspects of the book. We make all of the animal noises for him, and make up the ones we don't know. For instance, a giraffe says "meep" since we couldn't think of a sound it actually made. He'll be anihilated in school for that one, but it's cute for now. He can point out the lion, tiger, and zebra when asked. He's hit or miss on the giraffe and pretty weak on chimpanzees, hippos, and the rest of the lot. But, he's learning!

We just ordered a Commotion in the Ocean (also by Giles Andreae) to see how we like it. But, what does a shark say? Hmmm.
