Sad Picture Friday
Here is Jack's worst daycare bite to date. He is too sweet to bite any other babies, but apparently is quite tasty to them. It started when the new kid, Rowen, came and we know it's him. We're not big Rowen fans right now.

How many times has Jack been bit? Henry has been bit about four times. All by the same kid -- Joe Joe. JJ is a sweet little boy but a Bigtime Biter.

This was time #3 or 4. I can't really remember. It was ok at first, but this one left a bruise for 3 days. Not pleased at all. Grrr.

That stinks. Is your day care doing anything? When our little Hannibal was on his rampage, they assigned a caregiver to "shadow" him. Seemed to help.

We're actually reviewing state laws because the school won't do anything. It's their policy that "well, kids bite." Ugh.

The book is Teeth Are Not For Biting. There is a whole series -- Feet aAre not For Kicking; Words Are Not For Hurting, etc.
DO they have to write up an incident report when there is a bite? Seems crazy to me that they are not doing anything. Yes -- little kids really can't be "trained" at this point, but the least they can do is try to watch the biter more closely.
