Haircut #2

Well, here we are with our 10 month old getting his second haircut. We lovingly refer to him as a damned dirty hippie because of his crazy long locks. We got him shorn today, much to his dismay. (Heh, that wasn't intentional.) We brought him to a place called Kids Cuts because they have a very festive room filled with toys, tvs, video games, a slide, and a climbing wall. Plus they have little cars that the kids can sit in to get their haircut. So, we chose the ultra-cool, boy-style yellow car for Jack to sit in. He was fine sitting there and playing with the steering wheel. He was just peachy when she put the little cape on him. But, when she started spraying his hair with a detangling spray, his eyes got wide and his mouth opened all the way and he started crying- with no sound. It was actually quite hard not to laugh at him because he was red-faced with tears streaming down his cheeks, but was utterly silent. The hairdresser said she had never seen anything like it. Luckily, about half way through the haircut he got into full-on wailing so we knew all was well.

Here he is being tortured:

Afterwards, he hung out and played with the table-toy they have there. It calmed him a bit. Oh, plus we posed for the sad photo:
