Sitting Up!

All parents realize that developmental milestones are a clear indication of the quality of your parenting. It has nothing to do with the child's abilities or size or strength. Oh, no. Milestones are to be celebrated with joy.

This is a picture of Jack sitting up on his own for the first time. He managed to stay there for several minutes before toppling over. This particular shot was right before he spit up, so he must have had a nice taste in the back of his throat. I prefer to classify the photo as 'the look he will be giving us when he is 16.'

Look at him sit like a big boy. We are obviously fabulous parents. Obviously.
